Jane by Design

ABC Family invites you to participate in the Jane by Design Style Challenge, a three week fashion challenge inspired by the new ABC Family Original Series, Jane by Design, premiering Tuesday, January 3 at 9pm/8c.

The challenge will take you into the fictional world of the high-fashion design house Donovan Decker. You will be “applying” for a job as the official Donovan Decker blogger. Gray Chandler Murray and her new assistant, Jane Quimby, will be giving you several assignments to assess your writing style, your fashion sense, your personality and your ability to inspire your readers. Only one candidate will be chosen, so if you hope to be “hired,” you will have to be impressive!

Back in the real world, the blogger who is “hired” wins the game and will be rewarded with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have their blog mentioned by name in an upcoming episode of Jane By Design AND the opportunity to have their blog featured on abcfamily.com. And that’s not all. The winning blogger will also get to select one lucky reader who will be featured as the “Trendsetter of the Week” on abcfamily.com.

There’s also something for everyone. Every participating blogger who completes all seven challenges will have the opportunity to ask a cast member an exclusive question that will be answered in video format—providing you with some great exclusive content for your blog.

You will be judged on the following criteria:

• Creativity
• Quality of your blog posts
• The ability to engage your readers
• Punctuality

Before you sign up below, please note the following:

• Everything that you will need for the challenges will arrive in a special trunk on Monday, December 12th. Please indicate the address where you would like to receive this package on the form below. The package is heavy, so please plan accordingly.
• Assignments will be sent to you via e-mail throughout the holiday period and you will be judged on your ability to complete each assignment before the next one arrives.
